Description:
Phase 1 - External fabric repairs to 12th. Century Priory buildings comprising church (withleaning tower), dormitory, and stables. Works comprise new roof covering in Welsh slates, roof structure in oak A framed and traditional cut roof; in-situ repairs and strengthening to rare tower crux frame, lead valley gutters, re-building masonry and lime rendering. Start – August 2007 Completion – November 2007 (weather and tides permitting)
Phase 2 – Internal refurbishment and adaptations pending funding – date to be confirmed.
